Not long ago we picked up a new translation client, Owen Design Co., a boutique design and branding agency in Richmond, Virginia.

The team at Owen proved to be exceptionally professional and kind, so I took a closer look at their website. And one phrase jumped out at me: “white-glove care for clients and projects.”

“Aha!” I thought to myself. No wonder we’re simpatico. I’d never articulated it this way before, but that concept of white-glove service is also the guiding principle at Power of Babel.

So, what does that mean?

It means that we:

  • take personal responsibility for your dubbing, subtitling or translation project
  • treat it with the same care and respect we would expect for our own
  • try to anticipate any potential problems and roadblocks
  • recommend the most direct and cost-effective path to your desired outcome
  • pay close attention to your project from start to finish
  • always meet our deadlines

Oh, and who else wears white gloves?

Magicians, of course. We’ve been known to pull the occasional rabbit out of a hat.
